In 1999, Roy Anderson moved with his young family from Wisconsin to Corvallis, Oregon to study forestry at Oregon State University. Today, together with his wife Jennie and their four children, they have started a small family business in the Portland area that produces bundled firewood sourced from well-managed, local forests. The goals of our business are to instill in our children an appreciation for sustainable forests and the renewable products that come from trees and to provide a “real-life" opportunity for our kids to: learn about operating a business, develop a work ethic, and do something together as a family! Please know that your purchase of this firewood helps us meet those goals.
